A video on Slate explores the apparently under-reported world of women who dress up as man and take to the stage for various kinds of performances. Called Drag Kings, some of the women exacerbate androgynous characteristics toward the masculine side of the spectrum and do things like rap or mime Tom Jones songs.
Want to be more manly? One veteran advises a newbie to wear heavier shoes so as to walk more clumsily, "take up more space," and tilt her head to one side.
